i have been thinking about starting a blog for a long time now and with all the recent change in my life, i have a lot of free time to do so and commit to it. back in the day i had a xanga, that was interesting. i would post a bunch of emotional bull $hit and feed off what my xanga community left on the comment board. it was not very healthy. i can manage my emotions more today then yesterday so we will see how this blog goes down.
because the lord has blessed me with a plethora of insight and an insane amount of discernment and wisdom far beyond my years, i consider it my duty to share it all with the world! yeh right... i don't have no degree, no professional training. i'm just a country boy with big city dreams and a heart that loves and is dependant upon jesus christ. and that's all one really needs.
some topics i would like to blog about, other then the occasional update of the life of chad, include the following:
-some of my thoughts and experiences with christ exalting community.
-some insight on 'suffering' here in america, understanding that our suffering does not compare to what paul describes in the new testament. life is WAR! (2 corinthians 6:4-10)
-stories and prayer requests for some of our family members who have packed up the american dream and have devoted their lives to service and ministry, over seas or across the street. i just want this blog to lift them up and remind others that christ centered life is all about advancing the story of the gospel. missions...
-mainly dissecting scripture and how we can better apply the word in our day-to-day routine. and relying on the spirit's activity to do what he promised. reminder: no degree, no training. so bear with me. just my thoughts. this is your official disclaimer :)
-i would like to share with readers the books and the music i am currently enjoying...
-the occasional dose of poetry.. don't worry. nothing too emo.. hopefully.
who knows what is to come of this blog. i just pray you are blessed.
paz y amor
-chad
